Single Vehicle MVA on Hwy 74 Bypass keeps the east bound exit 311 ramp closed for nearly an hour

Cordova put their skills to the test during their weekly Tuesday night drill. Members responded to a training call on Sunday School Rd to practice both their extrication and firefighting skills.
Cordova Fire and Rescue members recently took part in a county wide LP gas training held at Northside Fire Department. David Leviner Owner and Operator of AEST fire training put members of Cordova, Northside, Mt. Creek, and Ellerbe through a series of exercises to help show them the proper way to approach LP gas and how to safely turn it off in emergency situations.
Station 950 Personnel respond to an early morning structure fire in Mary Evans Rd Sunday, August 24, 2014. The home was abandoned and no one was injured during the call for service.

Kids from Daycare visited the Fire Station for Fire Prevention on 10/23/15.
Cordova Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 121 2nd Street around 3:12 on 11/17/15. Upon arrival the mobil home was filled with smoke. One occupant had burns to her hands and legs. First Health EMS transported the patient to Burlington Field where she was airlifted to the hospital.
